Jody Davis is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in strategic financial leadership across multiple industries. Most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Our Next Energy (ONE) in the United States, Jody was instrumental in steering the company through a period of dynamic growth, supporting its first cell production rollout and securing significant investments, including a $300 million Series B funding that valued the company at over $1 billion.
Prior to this, Jody excelled as the Senior Vice President of Finance at ONE, where he played a pivotal role in financial analysis, strategy development, and capital raising efforts that positioned the company as one of America’s Best Startup Employers in 2024. Jody’s financial acumen was further honed during his tenure with the Ryerson Investment Group in Toronto, where he served as Co-Chairman and President, overseeing strategic investments and financial planning. Jody also contributed to the growth of CrowdRiff, a top Canadian tech startup. Serving as the Vice President of Finance, he led the company through successful funding rounds and strategic financial initiatives. At the Rubicon Project (formerly Chango), Jody demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, contributing to the company’s acquisition by Rubicon for $122 million.
Jody holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from Ryerson University and a Diploma in Business Administration from Humber College.
