Rob recently retired as Airbus’ Senior Vice President, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Services & Product Policy. Before Airbus assumed the Bombardier CSeries (now the Airbus A220), Mr. Dewar served as Bombardier’s vice president and GM of the CSeries program, responsible for the aircraft’s design, development, certification, and successful entry in service. In recognition of his leadership in bringing the first clean-sheet narrowbody airliner in more than 20 years to market, and the program’s incorporation of cutting-edge technologies, Mr. Dewar was awarded Aviation Week’s prestigious Laureate award in 2017 and Air Transport World’s Aviation Achievement Award in 2019. Recently, jetBlue christened its first A220 the “Rob Dewar.”
