Joël Boudreault is an accomplished bilingual aerospace engineer with over 15 years of experience in aircraft performance, conceptual design, and systems integration. Currently serving as Senior Director of Aircraft Development at EVIO, he leads the engineering efforts for a next-generation regional aircraft program focused on sustainability and innovation. Joël has held key leadership roles at Airbus and Bombardier Aerospace, where he contributed to the development and certification of major aircraft platforms including the A220 and Global 7500.
His expertise spans aircraft-level integration, flight performance analysis, and multidisciplinary optimization, with a strong track record in guiding teams through complex development phases and certification processes. In parallel with his industry work, Joël shares his knowledge as a lecturer in aircraft design at École Polytechnique de Montréal.
Joël is known for his analytical rigor, collaborative leadership, and passion for advancing aerospace technology. Outside of work, he enjoys trail running, rock climbing, photography, and traveling.
