Rory O’Brien

Director, Customer Engagement and Aircraft Integration

Rory Patrick O’Brien is an accomplished aviation executive with over 20 years of experience leading aircraft interior design, integration, and modification programs. As Head of Cabin & Interior Systems Integration at EVIO, Rory oversees end-to-end cabin configuration, certification, aftermarket support, and OEM/supplier relations. His role emphasizes innovation, operational reliability, and delivering high-performance aircraft on schedule.

Previously, Rory served as Director of Cabin Integration at Boom Supersonic, where he held similar responsibilities. At Alaska Airlines, he managed aircraft configuration and delivery programs, including a multibillion-dollar Boeing 737 MAX-9 initiative. He also played a pivotal role in lease return and STC projects during his tenure at Virgin America/Alaska Airlines, saving millions by implementing cost-effective, in-house solutions over OEM options.

His career began at Dassault Falcon Jet, designing avionics and electrical systems for over 50 custom business jets. Rory holds a bachelor of science in avionics engineering from Embry-Riddle and diplomas in electronic engineering from Galway/Mayo Institute of Technology.

Recognized for visionary leadership, cost-saving innovations, and technical expertise, Rory has contributed to award-winning airline programs and spearheaded the installation of first-to-market technologies. He is known for creating strategic solutions that balance technical precision with customer-focused results.
